Peace in Righteousness
“And the effect of righteousness will be peace, and the result of righteousness, quietness and trust forever.” Isaiah 32:17 (ESV)
Sinful men are quick to try to validate themselves by shaming those who disagree with them. There can be no agreement between evil and truth. We either stand for sin and perish or we uphold righteousness and live. There is unrest and discord for the one who clings to sin, but the one who clings to Jesus in His righteousness finds peace and lasting faith.
Let’s pray today that we may live our life trusting in God’s gift of righteousness in Jesus.
