“But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return, and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High, for he is kind to the ungrateful and the evil.” Luke 6:35 (ESV)
People may disadvantage us for following Christ, but that doesn’t mean we cease being a Christian. Relationships are not mere business transactions requiring us to come out with profit, but opportunities to show the grace of Christ to the least deserving. We protect our interests, but we can afford to let go because we rely on His judgement for the final say.
Let’s pray today to trust in God to ultimately handle the enemies we face.
