It’s Not Complicated

“Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.” 1 John 5:12 (NIV)

The gospel is not complicated; believe in Jesus Christ as your personal Savior and be redeemed from death. Everyone one of us deserves hell because everyone of us has sinned. We cannot save ourselves. We cannot suddenly become righteous enough to deserve eternity in heaven. We are fallen, sinful, wayward humans in need of a Savior and He is Jesus.

The simple gospel is meant to be simply explained and all of us either has the Lord as our Savior or we don’t. If you are still sitting on the fence about Jesus as the Christ, get off and take Him into your heart, mind, and life now.

Let’s pray today that we may be humble enough to continue calling on the grace of God for our salvation.
