Trust in Jesus
“Trust in the Lord and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture.” Psalm 37:3 (NIV)
To be in the world but not of it is to be faithful to the Lord Jesus Christ because He is your true safety. Some will put their arms up in welcoming you, some will put their arms around you in comfort, but only Jesus put His arms up on a cruel Roman cross for you. The Lord desires an eternal friendship with you that is beyond the temporary satisfaction of this world.
As we trust in the Lord, the inclination of our heart will be to do good towards others as we have opportunity. As we trust in the Lord, the end result of walking by faith with Him will be an eternity of dwelling in a safe land.
Let’s pray today that we would spend time with Jesus and trust in Him.
