Praying for Others
“As for me, far be it from me that I should sin against the Lord by failing to pray for you. And I will teach you the way that is good and right.” 1 Samuel 12:23 (NIV)
No one is helpless to aid another when they are a believer in the prayer answering God of the Bible. You might not have the money to give or a skill to use or a talent to share or the right word to comfort for a neighbor in need, but what you do have is a ministry of prayer. The same God who answers your prayers for you is able to answer your prayers for another.
Your intercession on behalf of another could be the very thing the Lord is waiting for so He may act on their behalf. Prayer is our means of invitation for the Spirit of God to intervene against strongholds that are crippling the lives of others.
Let’s pray today that we would be faithful in praying for others in need.
