Our Deeds

“For the day of the Lord is near upon all the nations. As you have done, it shall be done to you; your deeds shall return on your own head.” Obadiah 15 (ESV)

The true unseen intent of our hearts is made clear by the seen actions of our lives. The way we treat people, the kindness we show or don’t show, and the plain way we acknowledge the value of others. On the day the Lord returns, all will be laid bare and no longer will our humanity convince us that we can hide our true selves.

Let’s pray today that we may always be open to the Holy Spirit upon our hearts and life.
