Stand for Truth
“Indeed, all who desire to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted, while evil people and impostors will go on from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived.” 2 Timothy 3:12-13 (ESV)
With an increase of wickedness among society’s leaders comes bigotry against Bible believing Christians. To live a godly life, to claim the name of Christ, or to protest sin in the public square is to set ourselves up as targets of persecution. As light in a dark world, there can be no hiding, yet like our Lord we shall be used by the Holy Spirit to bid the lost to accept the Savior.
Let’s pray today that we will not fear when called to stand for truth, but will trust our Lord to use that for His glory.
