Death is Not the End
“But we do not want you to be uninformed, brothers, about those who are asleep, that you may not grieve as others do who have no hope.” 1 Thessalonians 4:13 (ESV)
Death is grievous but it is not the end for the believer in Christ who dies or for the believer left in loss. To know that we will see our loved ones again, to know that death is not permanent, and to know that our own Lord conquered death through His own resurrection, is to grieve with a sense that death is not the end.
Let’s pray today that all who grieve from loss will look to Jesus and know that death is not the end.
